Why have an online wedding diy gift registry - continued!

The solution seemed to be that hosts had multiple gift registry’s. But this didn’t really solve the problem though as the issues that were encountered with the second gift registry were the same as with the first. And the whole process just took twice as long!
Next came the honeymoon gift registry and then the latest trend, which is giving money to a wishing well. Both these registry’s are ultimately the same – you receive cash as gifts from your guests. Now, most people around the same age of the bride and groom don’t generally seem to have an issue with giving cash as a present. However, it seems that the older guests at the wedding do. So generally what happens in this situation is that the guests who are uncomfortable with giving cash end up buying the bride and groom a present anyway. And hence, the original problem returns – the bride and groom end up receiving a gift that either they don’t need, don’t want or isn’t to their liking.
So what is the solution? Stay tuned....
